Tater Tot Hot Dish


· 1 tablespoon olive oil

· ½ onion, diced

· ½ cup celery, diced

· 2 cloves garlic, minced

· 1 can French-style green beans

· ½ teaspoon celery salt

· ¼ teaspoon cayenne

· 1 lb ground beef

· 14 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup

· ¼ - ½ cup milk, as needed

· ½ cup sour cream

· ½ cup cheddar, shredded

· 1 bag frozen tater tots

· Salt & Pepper to taste


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. In a large bowl, mix together mushroom soup, green beans, sour cream, cheddar, celery salt and cayenne to make your slurry. Add milk as needed to make a smooth consistency.

3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same pan add onion, celery and garlic. Cook until softened.

5. Add ground beef and onion mix to slurry and mix until combined. Make sure to season well.

6. Place into greased 9 x 9 baking dish. Top with a single layer of tater tots.

7. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until filling is bubbling and tater tots are done.
