Deutscher Kochkurs with Dave

 

If you were ever wondering, that’s how you say German Cooking Class – and that’s exactly what this is.  Unlike its French neighbor, German food isn’t overly complicated, it’s hearty and robust with complex flavor combinations and just heavy enough to be the perfect food for this time of year!  Also, the sauce for Sauerbraten is thickened with gingersnap cookies.  Need I say more?  This class is going to focus on some German Restaurant Favorites with a couple side dishes you’ll be   This is a hands-on class. This class is taught in our 2x4 format – we’ll split up into groups of 2 and each twosome will tackle one recipe.

 

  • Schweine Schnitzel with Spaetzel
  • Sauerbraten with German Potato Salad
  • Zurich Ragout - Zurich Style Pork and Mushroom Stew with Cream
  • Apfelstruedel with Sahnepudding -- Apple Struedel with Creme
